OUR EXPERTISE

Anger management

We are all capable of expressing anger. We all experience anger; it is a natural emotion, but when it is explosive, sustained, or suppressed, it causes problems in our daily lives. We can live healthier lives if we identify and address the source of our rage. We may believe that “we do not get angry,” but because anger is a basic emotion, it can be suppressed, causing sleeplessness, problems with alcohol, drugs, gambling, food, and other physical symptoms. Recognizing our anger and being able to express it in a healthy manner allows us to have a better relationship with ourselves as well as those around us.

How do I control my anger?

You can’t control the situations that make you angry, but you can learn to manage your reaction to them with anger management counselling, which can help with everything from mild irritation to explosive, violent rage. If you are having difficulty managing your anger, we can explore the triggers that cause your angry feelings and develop the skills you need to deal with them more effectively.
