OUR EXPERTISE

Bereavement

Bereavement is the state of having suffered the loss of a loved one. It usually refers to the period following a loss when emotions are at their peak. This is a time of intense grief and tremendous sorrow. Everyone reacts differently to bereavement and grief. However, it frequently follows a predictable pattern that is often described as a normal reaction to loss. In some cases, people may have more persistent symptoms that interfere with their ability to function normally for a longer period.
