We have all experienced moments when we lack confidence and do not feel good about ourselves. However, when low self-esteem becomes a long-term issue, it can have a negative impact on our mental health and our daily lives. Low self-esteem is common in childhood. Teachers, friends, siblings, parents, and even the media send us messages about ourselves, both positive and negative. For some reason, the message that you are not good enough sticks with you. Perhaps you found it difficult to live up to other people’s or your own expectations of you.

As a registered member of the British Psychological Society, my area of clinical expertise is providing mental health support to individuals with anxiety disorders, depression, addiction, anger management, personality disorders, phobia, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and more.
